Macon-Villages Chardonnay

Half the bottle was injected into Hank, the turkey. The other half is very enjoyable considering the low $20s price point. Focused, lemon custard, caramelized apple, & chalk.

It’s been a while since I’ve had one of these Heritieres offerings. This wine makes me regret that. Zesty acidity and muscle. Not terribly long but definitely refreshing.

Apples, mineral, simple, dilute. Quaffable.

Stink-ass, rotten-egg reduced. Gave up after five days open.

I think this fell flat next to the Manciat, but still a delicious wine!

Good vintage and value producer in Burgundy. Glycerin, green apple, pineapple, lemon, lime, lemonheads, saline and yellow florals. The palate is M-M+ and creamy. Touch of beeswax/honeycomb, green apple, pineapple, lemon, lime, lemonheads, saline, soft minerality and yellow florals, round acidity and rich polished finish.

2016, bright but a bit missing on the mid

Baby lafon! Was my highlight at last year's #offgrid, new vintage showed great at this years as well.

Aromas suggest this wine comes from further north than Macon but still very light on its feet, refreshing and a joy to drink

Easy drinker. I actually feel like this could work for chard-haters because it’s a bit neutral.
