Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits and spices. On the palate, this medium body wine shows flavors of strawberry and tart cherry with off spice. Tannins are grainy ending with some mineral edges. Pass on this one. Tasting Sample.

Bad reviews on here, decent wine in my book. Maybe it’s a good vintage. Lean, clean and earthy. Maybe a little volatile. Lowered rating a bit.

Very simple design on that label. Pretty classy. Smells a bit like steak and the place it comes from. (Think feed lots and barns). It also smells of fruits of course. Flavors are zingy and bright. Cherries from the pie tree. Very dry and woody. Nice CA style stuff from Italia.

I’m surprised by the low ratings here for previous vintages. The producer certainly should be lauded for a worthwhile effort on this 2019 #pinotnoir from the #altoadige region. Wild cherry, compote, touch of baking spice and mushroom + soft forest floor aromas. Delicious tartness up front in the mouth, velvety tannins finish on a medium light body. Really nice quaffable Old World Pinot Noir - hopefully they can maintain this nice QPR in future vintages. $9 at Total Wine with volume discounts.

Not bad for a pinot under $10. Very light. Easy to almost not tannin. Bright cherry note.
