High QPR $18 Costco winner. At cooler temps, this leans towards a simple rich black-cherry wine, but at room temp it gains some backbone.

Blackberries, tar, violets. An attractive, fairly straightforward Barbera that shows more rottenness than one might expect from this vintage. Tasty.

Dark violet in color color. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, leather, violets, and vanilla. Juicy dark fruit on the palate with good acidity, fine grained tannin, and 14% alcohol. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels. Paired well with lasagna. $25.

Deep purple hue. Violet notes on nose. Blackberry, blueberry, violets, vanilla. Not overly complex, but an enjoyable wine with nice acidity which stood up well to Italian meats and cheeses.

Haven't had wine from this producer in a long time. Bright red fruit in balance with the wood and tannins. Perfect for a tuesday dinner.

Sweet red fruit scented and positively ripe, with clever oak treatment. Not really complex, but honest and more-ish.
