Gotta have two glasses with Thanksgiving Turkey, one for dark & white meat.
Nicely, ripe blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, dark cherries, medium intensity, dark spice, cinnamon stick, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, dark & red fresh and withering florals, near perfect acidity and a lush, balanced, long finish. At it peaks.
From brine to seasoned to cooked bird.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Medium Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with cacao and earthy spice herb character. Very nice!

My #9 in this 2007-2018 vertical, and it was the 2018. I didn’t think it was necessarily that young but maybe for me the KB‘s need to age a bit longer to really realize their potential. 30% - 40% from Gaps Crown in this vintage.

My #8 in this 2007-2018 vertical. I thought it was the 2016, turned out to be the 2012. Seem much younger, so I guess it should really shine in the next few years
