Nice ruby color. Musty, forest floor nose. Bursting berries of both black and red nature. Had with a spicy sausage pizza which really matched well.

Tightly wound and reticent at first, the 2015 Isole demands more attention and patience than the prior vintage. It’s the typical pretty, elegant and polished style but the tannins are less forgiving and the minerality will put your face right in the dirt. Think forest-scented wild red berries, savory spice, potpourri and sprinkles of cigar ash. Probably enough acid to power most kitchen appliances- if this becomes a habit you’ll need a good dental plan. Chianti at its finest!

Moore Brothers 9/18/19 Italian Intro #5. Ruby color cherry tobacco nose with hints of prunes and Sherry. Interesting and complex and shows some age. Very lively supple texture and balance with acids and fruits and long finish. What an elegant and tasty Chianti. Made by Paolo

En av de mer haussade producenterna i Chianti classico. Tyvärr är inte denna ren sangiovese utan instegsvinet som är uppimpat med bla syrah. Väldigt friskt och medelfylligt. Har fina toner av järn, lakrits och en grusig mineralitet. Lite dovare druvtypisk frukt. Lite kort i avslutet. Lite tråkigare än vad jag hoppats på.
