Bright ruby red and medium intensity color. Lighter than I would expect from a Ribera Del Duero and a strong hint of carbonic masceration. Needs to breath for an hour to get rid of the bananas. After that, strawberry, cherry and blueberry with some vanilla and baking spices (cinnamon and cloves). Medium plus acidity and tannins. Medium finish.

In honor of tempranillo day this past week! Bright ruby and purple. Light too. Nose was very interesting with perfume, violet, flowers, oil and slight herbs. Floral notes in the palate, not fruit. Something odd with the acidity. Moderate body and tannins that need time to smooth out. A little dry, can use a few years in the cellar.

The bouquet has many facets...from exotic ripe cherries, soft black currants & then moving to sweet fig. The complexity is somewhat bold and rich with medium tannins and a supple lingering finish from beginning to end!
