Jul 23rd, 201713' HDV Hyde & De Villaine Families Chardonnay. Light golden in color. A nice moderate amount of acidity throughout the glass. Citrusy & Pineapple, orange peel, lightly oaked chard. Loving this beauty. Drinking this close to room temperature. 👍

I absolutely love their Chards.
I initially blind-guessed this as a Puligny-Montrachet (and second guessed it as a Batard).

Crazy-good and lengthy finish of tangerine, orange blossom, white peach, and crisp minerality. Rich texture with brights acidity. SO GOOD with roasted vegetables and quinoa. #2013 #chardonnay #hydevineyard #hdv #sommlife

Opened with THE Chairman of the board for the Palm Beach Wine Auction and my beautiful wife and unfortunately it was corked! Very disappointing as this Chardonnay is one of the best in Napa. Truly insane pedigree. Oh well., we'll get em next time as they say. 🙃
