med-bodied, raspberry fruit and nice acid. A little light for a steak, but I really wanted to try this wine. The earthiness held up to the meal :)

Perfectly balanced organic French Bourgueil - paired with a braised chicken in a porter & thyme sauce with root vegetables. Love love, want another bottle!! Supposed to age well.

Very pretty ruby red color that moves to clear at the rim, medium viscosity, some staining. White pepper, jammy red fruits, some rubbing alcohol, and some sort of organic earth like a pile of leaves. More white pepper on palette, medium+ acid, medium tannins, long finish. Enjoyed this as a cheap, good food wine, less interesting to drink solo.

Zippy acid, nice tannins, more about the fruit for a cab franc-- tart raspberries. Funky rustic earthy thing going on too. Light, very dry. Not my fav but Tristan is chugging.
