Iron, crushed rocks, pencil lead,
med-bodied, raspberry fruit and nice acid. A little light for a steak, but I really wanted to try this wine. The earthiness held up to the meal :)

Perfectly balanced organic French Bourgueil - paired with a braised chicken in a porter & thyme sauce with root vegetables. Love love, want another bottle!! Supposed to age well.

This is maybe one of the best values out there. Classic cab franc that is just so comfortable in its own skin

Aromas of buttered toast with blackberry jam, black pepper, stony minerals, and dried herbs. On the palate, pomegranate and raspberry, bright acidity, teeth-coating tannins, and a touch of tar.

Very pretty ruby red color that moves to clear at the rim, medium viscosity, some staining. White pepper, jammy red fruits, some rubbing alcohol, and some sort of organic earth like a pile of leaves. More white pepper on palette, medium+ acid, medium tannins, long finish. Enjoyed this as a cheap, good food wine, less interesting to drink solo.

Zippy acid, nice tannins, more about the fruit for a cab franc-- tart raspberries. Funky rustic earthy thing going on too. Light, very dry. Not my fav but Tristan is chugging.

A wonderful subdued wine, hitting the right balance of lingering earthy spice and fresh fruit

Possibly the best $12 wine I've ever drank. And when I say drank I mean guzzled.

Tasty and quaffable, but lacking distinction.
