Wine buyer, lover of Oregon and European wines.
Smells and tastes like Christmas: cranberry liqueur, clove, and coffee. A hint of reduction but a good dose of cigar box notes and tart tannins made me forget all about it. Another delicious wine from L&S. — a year ago
At once green and syrupy. Lite smoke and anise, but pretty simple. Not bad, just not interesting. — 2 years ago
It's light and fairly uninteresting, but ultimately drinkable. Light notes of nutmeg and cherry. — a year ago
Good, basic Gamay. Cranberry and black pepper, simple but nice. — a year ago
Searing acidity is balanced by delicious nectarine and Meyer lemon flaves. If you can find this, BUY IT! — a year ago
Interesting! Rich flavors but austere texture. Honeycomb, nectarine, black pepper, anise. Salty/ briny. Wish I had some calamari fritti. — 2 years ago
A white wine for almost everything. Richness from the skin contact, but the austere salinity coupled with delicate floral notes make it a perfect wine for food. — a year ago
Toasted nut and honeycomb on the nose. Apricot and honey on the palate, with prominent acidity and matchstick notes. Dry and food-friendly. — a year ago
From a magnum. Loads of tannin and acidity, with bright brambles, blackberry jam, and a little Eastern spices. Not a ton of depth, but enjoyable. — 2 years ago

The only sparkling Baga I've encountered. Interesting notes of roasted nuts, the tartness of pomegranate, and cherry Sucrets (in a good way.) Pretty garnet color
Makes me thirsty to try others. — 3 months ago
