Wet wool and apple-honey duke it out on the nose in this austere but totally pleasant *unique* Loire sparkler. Like a crisp slap in the face - with suave and sneaky floral notes creeping on the back end, making friends with the mineral, it's beguiling. Into it.

eye: persistent but not aggressive bubbles, relatively gold in hue, transparent

nose: enticing aroma of pear compote sweetened with honey and very lightly accented with vanilla and citrus

palate: nectarines in cream, very fine bubbles, balancing acidity, no tartness, simple syrup w/ honey and slight mineral accents on the finish
