2010 vintage; Cedar, sandalwood, bright red lifted fruit notes, spice box. The palate is medium bodied and exceptionally balanced, good acidity and finely taught tannin. #burgundy #wine #gevreychambertin #guyon

Pinot Noir from 2009, not too old but already presenting strong animal scents. Disappointing.

Strongly defined, persistent barnyard notes. But I like that kind of thing. Bottle #2 at Dan's.

Slight berry taste at first when chilled. Delicious medium-body and not heavy on tannins. JZ loved it.

This is going to be a crazy note.

To start I don’t like Red Burgundy/Pinot Noir and therefore don’t drink much of it.

Bright red in color. Nose that smells of urine, methanol, and earth. Like when someone wets the bed. Rust, metallic elements, and minimal fruit on the palate. Probably why I like it, because I can’t stand fruit forward wines and prefer earthy and smokey tones. Medium finish.

My kind of Red Burgundy because it’s the complete opposite of my expectations!

Bit of barnyard upon open. Cranberry and bramble with spices and cherry. Super refined finish. Really nice half bottle to finish the night

2010 -
A calm and peaceful bottle. It has nothing to prove, but is so comforting and at the same time, youthful. Like a precocious child with an old soul. Floral perfume with plenty of red berries. Acidity holding strong at 8 years!
