1995 vintage. This bottle isn't as spectacular as the 1997 I've had recently, but it's still a great wine. High-toned nose with a level of volatile acidity that typically creates heated debates. It might turn off enologists, but enchant old-school Rioja lovers. Being more on the latter's side, this wine delivers on sheer complexity and length in an absolutely unique style. Well worth seeking out.

I wasn't really sure what this wine was when I tried it. Rich, complex, slightly heavy. Maybe an Amarone. Wrong texture though. Musar stumps everyone, apparently. This one tasted at its peak and I'm interested in trying other vintages.

1995 Chateau Musar that after 20 years is in its prime. Rich fruit, long smooth finish. What a treat!

Beautifully complex aroma with elegant aged notes, but surprisingly vibrant Flavors of bright jammy fruit. Unique and delicious

Medium ruby with a hint of bricking, this wine has a phenomenal herbal nose of mint and leather and underbrush. In the mouth the wine is everything you want from Musar. Stunning fruit, cedar, a bit of barnyard and dried flowers. Incredibly complete and delicious. There's a phenomenal salinity to the wine with a faint powdery tannin.

1995 Chateau Musar Red blend. Dried cherry, currant, leather, forest floor, reduced balsamic, baking spice. Soft and silky. Showing well but near the peak for sure. #wine #lebanon #musar
