Promise in this wine, there is! (Yoda voice)... I bought two bottles, one I opened today, and one I plan to age.

Full bodied. A lot going on. Cherry. Silky tannins.

A good Sangiovese - 2015 Vintage would definitely introduce to someone who wants to experience Sangiovese black cherry , cured meat , tar, earth ,vanilla high acidity ( great food wine )

Drank 6/13/20.

Very dark on the medium nose, with black cherry, leather, and tar. Flavors of black cherry, plum, leather, and black pepper are backed my firm, but well integrated tannins. Dark flavors on the long finish.

3/22/8/4/4+50 =90 pts.

A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot, aged for 2 years in large oak barrels, medium Ruby with dark fruit aromas and enticing herb spices. On the palate berry and cherry flavors, smoky oak with pepper and floral spice. Well integrated soft tannins, long finish ending with mineral tones. Very nice! Good value!

Did not taste like a Chianti to me, but I’m also drunk. Regardless it’s good.

Meh. Nose is good with minerally gravel and dark cherry. Good initial attack but gets lean and fades quickly. This was better last year. Drink up.

2009. Old school. Lean but persistent in the mouth. Gravelly-scented, macerated choke cherry fruit. Great acidity. Deeply-colored and tight. Nice now, but can easily go another 5 years.

Nose of wood, cherry and dried cranberries. Soft and mild, w very light tannins. Has lost that vibrancy I like in Chianti, and the finish fades quickly. Probably should not have kept it this long.
