Seems like this has a tad more depth and complexity than the 2020 I had a few months ago. I love the deep, iodiney minerally notes in the nose, intertwining with dark ripe/sour cherry. Great balance in the mouth. Soft full and fresh. Great value. — 7 months ago

This is the Riserva. Needs some air to coax out its charms, but then this turns into a very charming and undemanding Chianti. Nose has ripe, slightly macerated cherry, a whiff of vanilla, and some nice gravelly notes. In the mouth, it’s quite fruity, with good concentration, but there’s a lot of very fine-grained tannin integrated. Acids are quite soft but present enough for balance. Not the most complex but fun and a great value. — 3 years ago
