Vallegrande Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Beautiful perfume of fruit, spice and savory. Excellent snap and verve for a 2020, structured and ripe tannins frame the palate. Vallegrande is capable of great things as a Cru and this wine is a great example of that.

This was before noon which is kind of insane but also the best day ever.

Young but pretty

Cherry Bomb with balanced acidity - bigger than expected at 14.5%

Still very young and tense. This wine needs time!

It took a while to open up, but once it did, it was delicious. Dark and ripe dark red fruit with a walnut edge to the gently tannic finish.

Cherry, strawberry,leather and some pepper notes on the nose. Medium body with good acidity on the palate. Tannins are still present.

Not bad

Sample bottle. Young! Strawberry fruit leather, Italian spices, leather, and a touch of balsamic. Oak shows up but is never obtrusive. Lots of acidity and baby tannins. Makes me smile.
