Underripe plum, rhubarb, bing cherry and its blossoms, and the faintest aged balsamic. Raisin, date and chicory bouquet. Malt and cola stir beneath the black, betel depths. Tart plum, sour raspberry, sour cherry, black lime, soy sauce, malt, bitter blackberry. This is complex fare full of riches. #sour #sourale #sourbeer #tarty #flemishale #brown #flemish #BrueryTerreux #FamilleRue #gypsytart

Usually I steer well clear of tart or sour ale. This was a gift and so I tried it. I like it! Lots of other flavors to balance the tartness, and the tartness is also subdued.

Nose is vibrant - Cocoa powder, toasted, Werther's originals.
Sour palate - tart with texture and fullness. No bubbles. Will have to figure out the best time and place for it.

A little more sour than monks cafe. I think I prefer monks Flemish spur ale
