Medium dark rubi robe with a slight fading on the rim, hints of brick. Nose of anise and blackcurrant with notes of flowers and top soil. It’s medium bodied and long in the mouth, in a cistercian way, very reticent, in contrast with the robe. Its a truly nice bottle of classical Vosne and there is probably no rush to drink. Not an exuberant Vosne by any means so not for those who prefer more demonstrative wines.
