Lamm Reserve Grüner Veltliner

Thick, lots of bitter, no freshness. But a great glass.

Very good with the huge variety of foods we had on the table.

Fresh white peach, freshly ground white peppers, chalky minerals and zesty orange frame this medium-bodied, dry and concentrated beauty where great structure emerge on the youthful, yet promising finish.

Flint/gunsmoke/matchstick. Would’ve called Chablis in a blind. Long, layered finish of ripe pear and melon. So smoky.

Labeled as a dry wine but still with plenty of sweetness. Pairs well with lighter food such as chicken or white pasta.

White flowers, vanilla and oak nose. Very dry, lots of wet stone followed by tart citrus

Exotic with texture.

I absolutely loved this wine with truffle-spinach pasta. It’s exceptionally full bodied, stone-fruity and, acidic. Such a pleasure on a weeknight.

A nice quaff. Minerality, citrus. Not a terribly complex wine but quite nice. I'd give it an 87.
