Lovely wine, rare example of 100% Newell’s cappuccio. No oak, 100% steel vinification. Volcanic terroir and mellow red fruit with bright acidity and smooth tannins. Drink it young.

Pale to mid crimson. Red fruits. Light bodied with soft smooth tannins. Fermented in stainless steel - no oak. An attractive drink now style usually blended with Nerello Mascalese. Cannot see this catching on with lovers of big full bodied Reds.

Blackberries, black cherry pits, graphite, sun dried tomatoes, dried thyme, cinder. Soft rounded acid/smooth narrow velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, juicy-silky texture, smoky-herbal finish. Outstanding with simple tomato sauce based pastas.
