Blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and currants with tobacco and herb woody spice. Fine chalky tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and herb mineral character. Nice!

13 years and the tannins have softened and the fruit is growing up. Nice spot. Especially after hours in the decanter.

Picture is from a great street vendor in NY. Focus is on flying rats. The wine is in a great spot. The nose displays kitsch and hints of tobacco. Palate is a power-play of pristine fruit, and slightly underripe tannins. Acidity acts as a counterweight to the tannins. It’s multi-layered with a seam of minerality. Leave this a little while longer if you have it, but it’s excellent now, if you like palate domination.

Love these 14 that are pop and pour. First thing that jumps out is the soft velvety tannins. Rich and full blown yet soft and tamed. Not super complex yet so pleasurable. Long nuanced after taste. Fun wine.

Great wine! Totally forgot to record my tasting notes, but it was one of my favorites of the 12 and 13s from Beau Vigne.

The nose is dense and multi layered with jam and barrel toast. The palette is extracted to the max. Tannins are rather course, and will enable longevity. Succulent dark fruits, cassis and a hint of cloves bring up the rear. This has "born in Napa" written all over it.

Big and rich this wine bursts with fruit - blueberry and blackberry - and vanilla. It literally coats your mouth. Well-rounded with tannins that will let this age well (if you can keep your hands off it). @Martin G Rivard - I LOVE this wine. Thank you for sharing this and introducing me to such a great producer.

Lovely Blue fruited nose. A light dusting of mocha kisses the somewhat rich dark cherry fruit on this one. Well rounded with some slight savory mint/green note. And great use of the petite Verdot adds a structural lift. A bit chewy. This is a great showing for a 2011. Has a nice life ahead.
