Such pretty fruit and floral aromas. Still some body which was unexpected. Such a fantastic overlooked wine.

First time tasting #antoniolo Yum!! Beautiful violet and see through. The nose was very pretty and energetic. Palate had med to med+ body and great complexity. Perfect balance and fantastic length. #gattinara #nebbiolo #piedmont #italy #ctbucklinwine

Phenomenal spicy funky acidic

Typical Nebbiolo flavour profile but with a bit rustic edges. Needs a lot more time in the cellar to really start singing.

Stiffly structured red fruit with remarkable intensity. A focused weight that is powerful without being overbearing. Lavender. Tobacco. Tannins expectantly jagged in its youth. Enjoyable with a period of time spent in the decanter but just isn't ready. One worth revisiting down the line.
