Perfect union of two wine taster truths. 1) the best bottles are mispriced restaurant wine list bottles. 2) the best bottles to pay outrageous restaurant markups on are older white burgundies cause they wear the premox risk. Rare and perfect union of the two tonight in St. Louis where a 2009 leflaive les combettes was purchased for a price well below auction or lowest retail. Not the slightest sign of premox. Was actually delicious and characteristically leflaive.
