Not a typical beer for me, but I just spent 8 hours lifting cases, and didn’t need a ‘think drink’. India pale Radler...um, okay. Super bubbly, half translucent tangerine body with banana meat colored icing that just kinda blew away like fog, leaving the sticky bits. Partially submerged bubble letter lacing. Strong ruby grapefruit with a weaker little tangerine in its swarthy arms. Orange and lemon cast absentees. Very tropical. Zippy bubbled palate recalls a lemon soda, but is quickly and definitively ripe tangerine, showing Polaroid snapshots of its grapefruit grandson. Palatally, super-perfumed and offering hard jolly ranchers in the citrus range. Sweet fruit spritzer is the operative direction, and the soda side is not unpleasant, although, I am definitely overthinking here. Great Beach Beer. Soft as carrot cake sans the icing, with a special clover honey nuance. Lingering grapefruit essence but with the sweetness intact. Creamy dud to salivation triggers, but a real beach beer if there ever was one. Rating this high for that reason.
