Halter Ranch

Estate Bottled Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Showing black fruits with tobacco, vanilla, licorice, chocolates, oak, spices and peppercorn.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is tasty now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats.

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. Aged for 16 months in (30% new) French Oak barrels.

14.6% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Amoenus Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Just a baby!!!!!! But so good nonetheless. A pop and pour, lusciously soft tannins. Smooth characteristics of ripe black cherry, plum, blackberry, black currant preserves, cedar, vanilla, nutmeg, leather, clove. — a year ago

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2019

Aromatic w air. Plenty of stuffing with sweet and savory promiscuity. Goes to the edge of sour and pulls back last moment. Brilliant. @Josh Morgenthau — a year ago

Château Coutet

Sauternes-Barsac Sémillon Blend 2010

Forgot to save my thorough notes(!!!). From memory - the nose hits you with overt apricot, fresh figs, lots of nuts (including pistachio ice cream), and a bit of faint tangerine. It tastes like a pastry - almonds, sugar, coconut cream, apricot, cookies and cakes and dessert oh my. Finished with honeycomb. Very different than the Sauternes I am accustomed to, but very good. 93. — a year ago

Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia White Blend 2020

Blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Ribolla Gialla with small amounts of Malvasia Istriana and Picolit added. Bright straw gold color. Aromas of white flowers, honey and limestone. Pallet is full of tropical and citrus fruit flavors with a beautiful “Stoney” note on the finish. Medium bodied with a nice creamy texture. Fresh, long and bold. Nice choice, Kase! — a year ago

To date my wine of the year. Linear and tight on open. An hour later super expressive and rounded. Sooo good. — a year ago

La Digoine Côte Chalonnaise Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019

shockingly hits above its weight with very pretty fruit and texture. It’s really a gorgeous wine, dark plummy fruit in a very elegant package. Tannins augur for a long evolution. Really impressive. — a year ago

The Relic Shiraz Blend 2017

Remarkable where the single vineyard is all about well balanced red fruit this is chocolate and coffee all over.
Nothing overdone but in that order that you want to keep on putting your nose in the glass or wanna take a sip.
Very good wine.
