Granbazan Etiqueta Ambar Rías Baixas Albariño
Medium lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of apples, mango and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending slightly creamy with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. Pair this with some chicken with tahini dressing.

Feb 12th, 2022Very classic Albariño. Wouldn’t hesitate to put this in a blind tasting lineup. Loads of white flowers, citrus, white peach, and seashell on the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied with more of the same fruit notes plus lots of salty iodine flavors. Snappy acidity. A great wine for shellfish. Picked this up for $17 in Lebanon, NH.

1 person found it helpfulAug 10th, 2021Pale yellow. Fresh melon, white peach and tangerine aromas pick up a smoky mineral accent with aeration. Concentrated, spice- and mineral-tinged citrus and pit fruit and honeydew flavors tighten up steadily through the midpalate. Closes long and silky, with repeating peach and mineral nuances and a lingering floral nuance. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)
