Happy Birthday Christine & Hedy!

Allen Bothers meats; Tomahawk, Filet Milon, New York Strip & Ribeye served family style. Allen Brothers buy only the top 1% of meat quality available on the market.

St. Julien beauty & elegance with steaks cooked on the Egg Grill. Heaven together.

This grand estate owes its name to Connetable Talbot, the English general and governor of the province of Guyenne who was defeated at the famous Battle of Castillon in 1453. Complex aromas of fruit and spice with wafts of sweetness. On the palate red berry flavors with sweet tobacco and cacao, full body, well integrated. Soft tannins, good acidity balance, lingering ending with a mineral edge, perfect now.

First wine of ‘18. Bang friggin average. Soupy, dilute. Yields must have been off the charts here in ‘05. Tastes like a $14 Cali Cab. #talbot #bordeaux #stjulien

This is a perfect match with duck and pork. I'm so glad Laura Miller gave Kristy and I an excuse to drink plonk today.

Ch. Talbot 2005. Elegant, classy, ripe fruit and good oak, round palate, perfect to drink "by the glass"

Delicious but still too young. Maybe in 5-7 more years it will be ready.
