Lacking Hermitageness despite being absolutely pristine. Lacks lift to the midpalate but a wine of pleasure. Love it? No. Good example of producer, vintage, grape, region? Yes.

Medium-dark purple/ruby, ripe darkfruits and mineral aromas, on palate rich and masculine, with excellent length and seemingly potential to improve 5-10 more years, great bottle!!

This one had some slight seepage. nose better than palate, better after an hour. Animal blood, venison, and just very deep dark red fruit
