Blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of rich berry fruit, floral and slight spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry with floral spice, warm integrated vanilla oak and earthy cinnamon. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, vanilla oak and soft earthy notes, nice now, will still develop. A nice fillet mignon with Cabernet gravy will go well.

Tobacco. Leather. Dark fruit. Oak.

Complex and well balanced.

$120 though. Overpriced, as most California wines are.

Cherries, licorice and mocha. It's a Napa cab through and through. Juicy and hedonistic.

Char. Bramble. Tobacco. Fruit fading but good character in its golden years.

Enjoying this wine a decade after I received it. Back then, it was too tight and harsh. With time, the fruit has really come to the forefront. Getting loads of sweet black fruit paired with bracing acidity but a body to even it out. Still a bit disjointed but with another decade or so this wine should be perfect.

Comfort food. Great structure and fruit. After two nights of tasting it didn't open as much as expected... good now but needs a few years as long as the fruit hangs in there.

Tight wine - short, hot finish for the first 40min, then everything changed for the better.
