Lovely aged red-fruited old vine Gamay, ripe vintage, but more freshness than many 2009 Beaujolais I’ve had the past few years, lingering finish, very fine! — 4 days ago

Intensely floral, lemon and pear also show, this seems richer, fatter, and rounder than the 2021, lingering finish, very fine CA Viognier!! — 6 days ago
GSM blend from the Grampians in Western Victoria (Oz) (60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre), lovely red-fruited Grenache and rich, smoky, blue-fruited Syrah, solid structure and cool climate tone to the fruit, drinks well tonight, though I’d surmise it should easily last 3-5 more years in the cellar, very fine!! — a day ago
Love the fruit in the 2011 Beaujolais, this is another excellent fresh and balanced Beaujolais, great drinker, lingering finish, very good!! — 4 days ago

Medium-dark purple color, smoky, black pepper, very northern Rhone aromatically and on palate, rich, deep fruit, nice balance, long finish, moderate alcohol (13.6%), this is very, very good!! — 5 days ago
Cork went backwards into the bottle, but was intact. Lovely medium-red color, faint bricking on edge, dried red fruits, subtle American oak, very suave on the palate, yet still shows some tannic grip into the long, lingering finish, I’ve long adored these 1980s/early 1990s Pesquera “regular” Ribera del Duero tintos, which avoided the much more lavishly oaked Janus Riserva cuvée, and most amazingly, how long these $18-20 regular cuvées will age!! — 3 days ago
Relatively light color which shows some orange bricking on its edge, simple and light red cherry fruit on the palate, some heat (14.5% ABV) in the medium finish, another disappointing single varietal red from Tablas Creek (and label says it can be drunk up to 10 years from vintage, so 2031?!?!). — 5 days ago
Lemon, floral, mineral, slightly honeyed, lovely texture and cleansing acidity, this should continue to age gracefully for 2-3 years, my favorite domestic Viognier, kudos to Jonathan! — 6 days ago

Excellent GSM blend (42% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 18% Mourvèdre) from the Grampians in Western Victoria (Oz), blue and black-fruited Syrah and tree bark Mourvèdre aromas and flavors, less red-fruited Grenache in this subtly higher acid 2021 vs. the 2022 that is also open, finish is a little cleaner and less tannic, long, lingering finish, my preference of this 2021 vs. 2022 showdown. — a day ago
