This bottle is so pure and pristine and fresh that it should be classified as amazing, youthful color, great acidity, fantastic dry Chenin Blanc, Baumard killed it on this bottle (in fairness, I’ve had other bottles of this same wine years ago that were nowhere near as fresh), long finish, great dry aged Loire Chenin Blanc!!

Dec 13th, 2023Gorgeous, mineral-infused, rich, dry aged Chenin Blanc, shows some honeyed notes that linger into the long, complex finish. I believe this may be at peak, but hoping it will hold a few years since I still have more from a case purchased on original release!!

Oct 31st, 2017This was utterly fabulous, I think Baumard's Trie Speciale with adequate age (15+ years) is one of the world's great white wines, bar none, and this was no exception, fantastic juice.
