On the nose, red plum, sage, eucalyptus, and smoky salami... On the palate, deep, concentrated, dark fruit along with a tannic tongue dryness culminating in a long, chewy finish... With food, this explodes in new directions... We paired this with our first course of meatball in a clean tomato sauce with amazing effect... The acidity of the tomato made this wine pop! — a month ago
For $20 this was a really enjoyable wine. Fantastic when you're looking for something different. The bottle opens with a strong nose full of dark fruit. The initial poor is overwhelmingly acidic and if you're not patient you'll assume you've picked a lemon. This wine became truly enjoyable after 30-45 minutes; the acid mellowing (but still strong) with cherries, plums, and leather. — 6 months ago
Caramel, milk chocolate and dark red roses on the nose. Dark fig, cinnamon, good tanin structure . Still young and tasting great. — a year ago

Very smooth, and easy to drink. Decanted about 3hrs prior to dinner. Paired well with pasta and grilled fish. Absolutely loved this wine. — 5 months ago

Great choice for a moderately priced everyday wine. Nice flavor, hints of fruit, but not sweet. nice diversion from my usual cab or Malbec — 3 months ago

Interesting aromas of petrol, almond shell, peaches and cream yogurt, and sea shell.
Slightly underripe peach and cantelope, with med+ acidity that includes some balsalmic-y volatile acidity and subtle herbal notes reminiscent of sage.
Tasty and interesting rosato. On the underripe side which yields nice acidity and effortless drinkability. — 2 years ago
