@Tom Casagrande Lighter in body than I'd like for this vineyard site, respectable cherry, leather and earthy notes. Not shrill at this bottle age, but we do give them a reasonable airing time before pouring at dinner. Honestly this just wants a lot more time in bottle, I think it starts coming together 2028+

Better on day two - living up to its Mt Veeder heritage. Bold, dark fruit abound, hint of vanilla and caramel, layers of flavor throughout. Sterling did a nice job with the bounty from Yates Vineyard. This can continue to evolve in the cellar for quite some time. — 3 years ago
