So mineral, earthy and mineral, wow the acid is crazy. Like a rock bath. Juicy and clean. Long and fine. No no no fruit. None and its awesome. So clean, so refined and so pure with insane barely there Yellow fruits. So clean and so pure. So stark, Iceland.Liquid Iceland. Extremely mineral wine. Liquid stone. Best Domberg ever. — 2 years ago
Star bright tannish gold. Surprisingly abundant nose of Royal Gala apples with a hint of flint. Still too young fir the flint to dominate, but it’s there. Medium light, layered palate echoes the nose wrapped around firm mouthwatering acidity and leading into a lengthy stony almost saline finish. German dry Riesling has come a long way since the turn of the century and this GG representative of the renowned 2017 vintage makes the case grandly. An excellent VDP authorized (look for the eagle) Riesling that will compliment a wonderful range of foods. Asian cuisine (non-spicy) or Euro-American pork dishes are naturals. Drink now through 2032 or so when the flint has taken the lead. — 3 years ago
Bright beige gold. Abundant nose and medium palate of crisp red apple, white flowers, honey, and a hint of flinty mineral. Medium acidity, slightly low for the appellation. Medium long finish. Excellent Rhein Range Riesling that's great with a spicy leaning (think chipotle or ancho chile) fare as well as fresh fruit and fruit based desserts. Drink now for the fruit, by 2037 for the development. — a month ago
Star bright straw gold with green highlights. Inviting nose of yellow apple and orange blossom. Medium palate of bright yellow apple, honey, and white peach. Bracing acidity balances the off-dryness making for a great accompaniment to roasted poultry or pork. Drink now through 2030. — 3 years ago

This wine brought us back to sitting in the lounge of the Schloss in Lieser Germany, along the Mosel, where we first tasted this it. Just like then, we couldn’t put our glass down. Who would have thought that this region known for their rieslings, would have such a robust Pinot noir. This 2018 Pinot noir was incredible - great body, and finish. — 3 years ago
