Visionaire Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2014

Very complex for a blend (5!) and smooth. Really like this. WOM 4-22 — 4 months ago

Holden Manz

Avant Garde Collection Chardonnay 2019

‘19 Holden Manx Barrel Fermented Chardonnay. Standout orchard fruits highlighted by peach pit/mango mid palate…not hiding behind toasty new oak. It’s still creamy & round, with just enough acidity to balance. — 2 years ago

@Ron R Sean & his son @Greg Ballington started importing wine for distributing from South Africa. This is one of many wines they are carrying. Don’t know how many states they’re in as of yet.

Greg Ballington
9.0

Medium ruby red. Layered nose with black cherries, anise, graphite and a bit woody. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Tons of wood on the palate with raspberries, dark bitter cocoa and gravel. Medium plus finish with solid acidity. Drink till 2025. — 4 years ago

Hohberg Trockenbeerenauslese Ortega 2013

Made from the curious Ortega grape (Müller Thurgau x Siegerrebe). Brown golden color. Fresh nose with hints of mocca and caramel. Nice acidity with lemonzest and orange bitters. Paired perfectly with Crème Brulee.
Interesting glass.
