Complex nose. Huge aromas, big, ripe and rich, confectionary, ripe and so rich yet so light and acidic. GC Kabinett all the way. Juicy. 8.5%. Long and a bit closed, grippy and intense. Kind of like Weisser Kunstler. So juicy. So pure. Long and dissipating. — 8 years ago

@Delectable Wine - This is the Hochheimer Holle Im Neuenberg VDP Erste Lage. Rich nose shows deep apple fruit verging into peach, high-toned stony minerality. Bone dry in the mouth, it’s intensely mineral and rather full bodied. Flavors skew heavily to phenolic elements. This is not elegant but is a benevolent punch in the mouth . — 2 days ago
