Pezzi King

Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow did this age well! This is a 27 year old wine and has some of the Penzias dry creek valley distinctive green bell pepper but so smooth. Makes one realize the value of aging wines. — 6 months ago

Stoneridge Vineyard King Coal Cabernet-Syrah Blend 2016

Blackberry bramble, baked black cherry and plum, hints of maraschino, mint and menthol, bell pepper and geranium, cedar, tobacco, and bakers vanilla with whiffs of aged leather jacket on the nose. Blackberry, cherry, juicy raspberry, vanilla extract and weak black tea on the palate with a medium heavy body but a medium short finish. Overall a great wine for pumpkin pie brunch on Christmas morning (no it’s not too early). Merry Christmas! — 4 years ago

The Cattle King Syrah 2018

Nose is huge right off the bat. Tannic on open, really started showing at the 4hr mark. Enjoyed this, but nothing so notable to make me want to buy again. — 2 years ago

Monticello Cabernet Franc 2018

This is a nice and light Cabernet Franc from Virginia. Showing red and blue fruits with earth, honeysuckle, chocolates, oak, vegetables and spices.

Light ruby in color with medium intensity.

Very pretty nose, sweet and flowery.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Good right out of the bottle., light and airy. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.

A good food wine that I paired with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses olive crackers.

12% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$28.
