La Niña Margarita

Random purchase, but happy for it. If you like margaritas and amaro, this is your drink. Great balance between tequila and herbal aromatics. I’m a fan. — 7 months ago

Foxen

La Encantada Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

2017 vintage. Earth, black olives, lavender, dusty shroom action. Light-medium body with punch. Foxen really nailing it the last 5-6 years with pinot after a few years wandering in the overoaked wilderness. — 2 years ago

Nowhere in Particular Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2016

Big, big berries bouquet upfront, big! and then after initial taste big burst of berries at the front and then fades in about three seconds. This a a great “summer red “ on the deck. — 4 years ago

Fantini

Farnese Sangiovese

Reminiscent of nights spent having table wine in Tuscany and wandering and getting lost is a small, quaint Italian village. Very well balanced. — 9 months ago

Domaine de Trévallon

Vin de Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône Red Blend 1994

Trevallon was the first wine that helped me *taste* terroir — it smells and tastes like it feels to be wandering around in Provence.

This wine has gravel, garrigue, herbs de provence, rubarb pie, light black truffle, spices, raisins. I always say this wine tastes like it’s alive. 94 is still full of life and very elegant. RIP Mr Durrbach and thank you for creating Trevallon.
