My choice for a Rhône style theme with my local group.
Definitely the oldest No Girls I’ve opened. As expected, these have a Burgundian flair to them in the way they are made when compared to Cayuse/HP/HC. Not as much depth/richness, but there is great acidity and the use of stems is clear. Faint ruby in the glass. Stemmy/green aromatics with herbs de Provence, black olive, Cayuse funk/iron on the nose. Saline, red and black berry driven on the palate with black pepper spice, truffle, beef jerky and big phenolics. Tart and acidic, I followed this over two days, and to my surprise, held up very well. Pop now. — 2 months ago
Black cherry, raspberry, currant, white pepper, blackberry and oak. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 5 days ago
A garnet-purple color and expressive nose with that initial Cayuse funk and notes of red berries. smoked meat, herbs, bark and dusty like minerals. Taste: beautiful silky and soft feel. Red berry fruit stands out with gamey meat, iron & bitter chocolate notes and a metallic medium, plus finish. Was looking forward to opening this 2016 again and it did not disappoint! — 2 months ago
Smooth Syrah at a great price, would definitely buy again! — 3 months ago
Fantastic… better to sniff than drink! — 2 months ago
Deep, deep purple in color, almost black; blackberries, black plums, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like camphor, black pepper, black currant, and blueberries with a long finish. I love it. What an interesting wine. — 3 months ago

PnP. Dark red/maroon color. Cigarettes, BBQ, and incense on the nose. Similar on the palate. Fairly big wine. Not my style, but I’m sure others may love this. — 10 days ago
