delightful, held up until 2024 and paired with salmon. — a month ago
Huge nose of menthol, cedar, white pepper, clove, and spiced red and black fruit. On the palate plumb, cinnamon, dark cherry, oak, and hints of pencil lead. High alcohol, high acid, medium plus tannin, medium plus body, with long finish. — 5 months ago
Fruit forward and very jammy. Silky and velvety smooth. Full bodied. Rich, excellent! — 5 months ago
Fruit and earthy aroma. Blackberry with plum and vanilla finish. Dense but not overwhelming. Low tannins and short finish. Would absolutely buy again. — 6 days ago
Earthy with notes of cherry and plum.
Well, balanced and delicious. Allowed to open up for 3 to 4 hours. — 2 months ago
I love this Montalcino ($63 Davidson’s) and the general cherry-herbal-menthol flavor profile of Montalcinos. I’ve had this one before, and enjoyed just as much. The highest Delectable rated of my recent Montalcino purchases, interestingly. — 5 months ago

At first I found this medium bodied, slightly creamy, with prominent stone fruits, white peach and cumquat, with a prominent minerality and slight notes of cheesecake on the nose. Now it’s emerging much more dry with air, still a long, mineral driven palate, still medium bodied, but beautifully balanced and definitely a contract to many California white wines when it comes to complexity and nuance. — 3 months ago

All about the nose on this. Compact, deep core of raspberry and pomegranate. Finish hangs — 10 days ago
