I don’t recall coming across a Portuguese white that’s so ripe and full. Nose of lime, orange peel, peach, pear, honeysuckle, hint of vanilla and spice. Round and viscous on the palate, but there is enough acidic lift. Drinking like a well made Viognier.

Brought this back from a recent trip to Portugal. Only 14 euros. Fresh mineral and white fruit components. Well balanced w/o being overly acidic or flabby. Delightful wine as an aperitif yet enough structure to stand up to salads and fish. Wish I could find it here in the states — 10 months ago
