Raised in large oak and concrete vats, this exuberant Priorat delivers classic character at a bargain price. Vi de Vila offers finely etched, mineral-driven cherry, floral qualities and discreet tannins. There is enough depth to reward patience, assuming you can resist its immediate charms. $25.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, May 2021) — 15 days ago

I had the 2016 vintage. Really enjoyed it. Apology for no specific tasting notes. — a month ago
Blackberries, tar and plumb. A spicie aftertaste builds over time. Overall fruit body with very very mild tannins. Nice right out of the bottle. — 2 months ago
Smooth, dry with a bit of a sour finish. — 14 days ago
This has developed a bit more complexity on the nose since my last taste a year ago. Red cherry and blackberry followed by incense, black tea, vanilla, and a bit forest floor and hint of smoked meat, then the lovely cherry note resurfaced. Well balanced with acidic and tanning structures for further aging. What a value! — a month ago
