Aug 31st, 2024Again not a correct bottle at the onset (Brett), but that largely blew off after an hour. So better than the previous two bottles. Still muted, dusty fruit. Underneath there is a well made wine but it never shined unfortunately

Sep 4th, 2024This was a difficult bottle, as was the previous one. Upon opening I thought that it was corcked and / or heavily bretted. Luckily this blew off to the point that it was drinkable. Also with a little bit of effervescence that blew off too after 30 min. Underneath there is good, sweet Garnacha fruit but somehow this never really came together.

Jul 11th, 2024Excellent Priorat. Blend of Garnacha (60%) and Cariñena (40%) from the Les Planetes vineyard, a northeast-facing plot on slate/llicorella soils in Porrera. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 17 months in oak foudres and clay amphorae. Dark fruit, minerals (graphite) and smoke on the nose. Some floral notes. Full-bodied, round, structured. Good freshness

Nov 27th, 2022I love this wine and it gets better each year as the vines get older. It’s a 60/40 Grenache - Carignan blend aged in oak for 17 months. Grenache vines are 20 years old. The wine is fresh with lively acidity - Red fruit leads to notes of violets with a chalky minerality underneath. Medium- bodied, long finish. Evolves in the glass. 2017 vintage on Dec 15, 2019
