Impressive rendition of this varietal but not for faint of heart: this is an austere lean angular beast w/razor sharp acidity and plenty of minerality & saline mingled w/herbaceousness. Echoes of kumquat & lime in 2nd day, but this remains a wine for seafood, salad or specific light fare. — 6 days ago
Nice Vermentino made interesting with some skin contact that gives flesh and some structure to a fresh wine. You can push your pairing with something meatier — 6 days ago
Absolutely stunning for a California white, better than many of those from Italy. Tons of bite up front, and then nicely mellows out. Exactly what you’d want this wine to do. Got from Coco’s Wine club. Californios — 4 days ago
2018 vintage. This is an amazing Vermentinu from this outstanding producer. Vines planted in 2009. Intensely perfumed with white peach, pineapple, fresh herbs (mint, thyme) and iodine. What you smell is what you get in the mouth: white peach and fresh herbs, intertwined with crispy acidity and a beautiful minty/salty/fruity lingering finish. Hard to find, even in France but worth the effort. Absolutely lovely. A producer to watch. Abv. 13,7%. — 18 days ago
On open, the Stelvin closure was smooth and had a feeling of substantial quality. Was not the typical metal on glass friction, as there was a plastic thread on the inside. Nice. Small thing wich made a noticeable difference.
Color is straw with a greenish tint, im not great with color, but green hue was noticeable in wine glass, and away from bottle and packaging.
Wine is ripe and fruity, dry and refreshing, notes are clean, straw/herbal/veg (fennel and terrior notes, not green under-ripeness) and sandy mineral notes. Ripeness puts the wine on the heavier side of medium body, as it is only 12.5% ABV. Very nice.

Wonderful wine had it with chicken with onions, garlic, pancetta with some Peroni beer to make the sauce and grilled aubergine on the side. — 8 days ago
