Very nice, dark color earthy forest notes into firm palate with a good bite and extending into finish — 20 days ago
This could probably benefit from some aging but drinking well now. Elegant aromas of dried cherries, fruit compote, spices, cocoa, and hints of exotic woods. — 22 days ago
Fantastic. Very rich and rewarding. A black currant, plum, licorice and leather. — 10 days ago
Amazing amarone! Rich taste, well-rounded, well balanced, long and rich aftertaste! — 15 days ago
It was ok, not as much fruit now. — a month ago
After pressing dried grapes from making Amarone, Valpolicella wine is passed over the still warm skins of Amarone for 2nd alcoholic fermentation, increasing the alcoholic content, aromas and color. Blend of 85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 5% Oseleta. Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet dried berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate ripe blackberry, currants and sweet cherry with complex spice. Well balanced with acidity and alcohol, full-body with soft tannins on long finish. Nice value. — 2 months ago

Clear, medium ruby to garnet in color; on the nose it's, clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, almond, and cloves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherry, ripe strawberry, tar, and black tea with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — 14 days ago
