This wine was so good to me that I could 'Dirty Sanchez' a vagabond...just to be nice and treat people the way I wanna be treated...like the winemaker musta been feeling when he made this Chard. I just got bumrushed by those amaymay Fort Ross Chard flavors...in a good way. Full bodied, like the old, more likeable Al Roker. — 7 years ago
A nice South African Syrah from a young winemaker I met at a pairing dinner last year. Nose of anise and dark cherry. Palate is medium bodied and well balanced with mouth watering acidity and soft tannins. Palate leaning towards more earthy flavors of dried leaves clove, moss and soft minerals with smoothing blackberry dark cherry and currant fruit undertones. Finish is remarkably crisp. Overall an interesting and unique presentation of Syrah. — 2 months ago

Nose: bold yet rounded example of Mendoza Malbec. Composite bouquet of ripe plums (almost prunes), violet, dark chocolate.
Palate: rich aroma of black fruit and rounded and soft tannins. Prunes. Nice finish.

The pieces are in place, from the brambly opening to the ripe dusty cherry with citrus peel and silky tannins. It just drops towards the end, really asking for a bright finish, but not quite delivering on acidity. This is a very subjective view though, though, my take on the varietal more than the execution — 15 hours ago
