Very pretty color of peach with a salmon hue.

Strong nose of apples, citrus, peaches, yeast, light bread and minerals.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and tiny bubbles.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, over ripen strawberries, apples, limes, yeast, sea salt, brioche, spices, minerals, light earth and cardamom.

Long spicy finish with limes and grapefruits.

This 14 year old Rosé Champagne is drinking beautifully already, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Elegant, spicy and rich. Fruity and nicely balanced, complex and engaging.

Wine Spectator 96 points. Wine Advocate 95 points.

Good right out of the bottle, and better when not too cold.

A great sipping wine that paired beautifully with my Tuna Avocado Tartare.

A blend of 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay, with 5% red wine. Disgorged in 2020.

Nez riche avec une forte impression sucrée que l’on retrouve en bouche aussi, gras, rond avec un peu d’acidité, finale avec de l’alcool et comme un sucre résiduel, 89. Clairement identifié comme Cotat.

Blind tasting lunch 2009 theme. Nose with strong sugar and sweetness impression that we find on the round and fairly fat palate, a little bit of acidity to balnce it but a finish with some alcool and residual sugar, clearly identified as F. Cotat. 88-89 — 4 years ago

Tasted blind, 3 very different wines but all 3 were excellent and showed their character well.
A magnificent and very explosive nose almos, changing fast, complex, deep aromas of soices, black and then white pepper, Provence herbs, black currant, a superb nose. The palate is fairly powerful, a good acidity to go with the strong tannins but mostly amlkng delicious finish, impressive length. 91-92

Dégustation en semi aveugle, 3 rouges très différents. 3 vins magnifiques et de style différents.
Magnifique nez excessivement aromatique, très complexe et profond, change énormément, allant du poivre blanc, des herbes, des épices, du cassis, superbe nez. Une bouche puissante mais un peu contenue, une finale surtout excessivement longue avec ces notes d’épices douces et de de poivre. 91-92

Wow! Superbe vin. Fruits noirs, un tout petit peu de boisé encore, anis étoilée. Une bouche pleine, gourmande, puissante mais avec classe et élegance, superbe texture soyeuse, très long en bouche. 93-94

Flowery on the nose, slightly earthy but dominating red fruit and a touch oaky. The palate is pretty nice, medium bodied with nice dosage of acidity and fine grained tannins, the finale is nice with red fruit and a touch though of dryness. Pretty good despite the youth, preferred the 2016 and 2014 drank recently, but very glad to have many bottles in the cellar that will sit a few years. 90-91 for now.

Nez avec une touche florale, du fruit rouge, un peu terreux et un peu de boisé. La bouche est avenante, acidité présente mais bien dosée, tannins aux grains fins mais un peu asséchante en finale, compte tenu de la jeunesse. Bien aimé mais moins profond que les 2016 et 2014 bu récemment. Content d’en avoir plusieurs en cave qui attendront. — 6 years ago
