Great aroma, lightly oaked, smooth and buttery! — 5 years ago
This is my favorite wine so far. Super sweet and not dry at all. Almost tastes more like grape juice than super alcoholic. I can’t wait to go to the vineyard and try all their wines! — 6 years ago
This wine defies all expectations of a red made in New England. I’ve got to look into where the grapes are from because this rivals Barberas from Italy. — 8 years ago
Saw this on my favorite restaurant’s private wine list, DelMar in Cape Cod. From one of KW’s 13 different vineyards, Ruby with youthful fruit and gentle spice aromas. Fresh sweet raspberry and cherry fruit with flavors of cacao wrapped in lively juicy acidity. Lingering finish, juicy soft tannins with great mouthfeel, ending with bright earthy mineral tones. Nice, it’s youthful character will mature with a few years in the cellar, but it’s youthfulness is a joy to drink now. I have a few bottles tucked away. — 8 years ago

Spectacular. Perfectly mature. Drink now. Great fruit plus structure with just enough tannins. The second you pull the cork you know you are in the presence of a great Margaux. On cape cod with Neil, Priscilla, Dana and of course Yuki. — 10 years ago
Bought at Dunn&Sons in Cape Cod. Enjoyed on Thanksgiving 2024. Notes of cranberry, wet stone, forest floor and mosses. Exciting and unlike any other Pinot I’ve had. — 2 years ago
2019 vintage paired super well with Jacques Pepin’s poached hake recipe (Cape Cod, 2022 with Helen & Tree). It came on strong with a flash of strawberry gummies then opened up and mellowed as the meal went on. Fruity, full bodied, quite dry but not overly so. Maybe I’m just high but I found this super tasty. — 4 years ago
So I was a little hesitant during the tasting at the winery, but I was ASSURED that this was a growing trend. Clearly she saw me as a trendsetter at my advanced age 😁🙄. I am definitely hooked. . . But they don't ship outside of the Cape. . . Sad🙄 — 7 years ago
This was one of our wedding wines. Rather nice to have a few bottles left over. This one was enjoyed on Cape Cod on July 4th. An accessible and definitively American wine. Rich, somewhat tropical but still elegant. It's gorgeous and made more so by virtue of the wonderful associated memories. — 8 years ago
Look no further fella, you found it. Beautiful aroma of grizzly long cut and cape cod cranberries. Medium bodied, light acidity, and softer than Lebron James in crunch time. Beautiful finish, a la licking your little league baseball mitt. Delectable. — 8 years ago
Tyrion purple in color with aromas and flavors of black cherries, jammy blackberries, cinnamon and peppermint. It's medium bodied, soft in mouthfeel, lush in flavor, and finishes silky smooth with blackberries and peppermint. — 10 years ago
Very good local wine. Light, slight fruit forward and tasty! — 11 years ago
Tasted @Truro Vineyards May 31st while exploring Cape Cod with my mom and sisters. Crisp and light and perfect for spring and summer patio drinking. Wish they shipped to Nebraska! — 4 years ago
Drinkable rose, the best part of a cape cod taqueria dinner — 5 years ago
It is officially squirrel season! The Rose by Kruger-Rumpf is made entirely of Pinot Noir, is 12%abv, and greets you with a bouquet of white flowers, followed by a scent of Ruby Red Grapefruit, followed by a show-stopping taste of cranberry. It eerily reminds you of a Cape Cod cocktail, and mysteriously disappears from the glass. ☺️ — 8 years ago
Fruity nose, really quite balanced throughout. Great local buy! — 10 years ago
It has a wonderful tart flavor from the cranberry, but the flavor of the wine isn't strong, so if that's what you want, you'll be disappointed. It's delicious and super drinkable. This has quickly become a favorite. — 10 years ago
Louis Martin
Tried it at Ours Mediterranean Cafe in Sandwich, Cape Cod. Light, pale lemon color and taste, burst of semi-sweet citrus when paired with lemony Greek dishes. Nice and easy to drink, especially for the price point. — a year ago
