Best poulsard I’ve had! Very nicely balanced with deeper black cherry, underripe plum notes + electric acidity that is in harmony (perhaps drinking it a 6 years old is a sign of that these wines benefit from a bit of bottle age). — 6 months ago

Ever since we did a tasting with @Anthony Biagi i find this hard not to drink - even young. What a difference Tony has made for Hourglass as well as his own line of Patria. Tony and his wife Herta purchased 30 acres of land in the Napa Valley with the magic ingredient - location. With a splash of Malbec added, aromas of dark berry fruit and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with cacao, licorice and herb notes. Fine tannins, nice acidity, good balance on long finish ending with fruit and cedar notes.
