Bought this one as it is also known as trollinger, which I enjoy. It did not disappoint. — 6 years ago
Portugal produces much more than Port. This is a beautiful wine with fruit, light tannin and moderate acidity. — 5 years ago
Gotta love the dirty, dirty nose here. Earth and charred red bell pepper with a waft of fresh, hot asphalt. Its dirty, no question, but on the palate that becomes earth with fruit and mineral...no better value I've seen with this quality. 2015 — 5 years ago
Mushroom and onion soup and beef broth on the nose (crazy?). Dark fruits--black cherry, dried fig, herbs, surprising tannins. — 6 years ago
A most thoughtful wine. Even though young, is complex and beautifully balanced. Every sip makes you want more. — 5 years ago
2012. Blind tasting. Obvious markers. Thank you Beth. You dont have to spend $$$ on a wine of interest. — 6 years ago
I have no words for this beauty. Look, up in the glass. It's a Muscat, it's a claret, it's a port. Whatever it is, it is mindblowing. Thank you Todd. — 6 years ago
