Ripasso Valpolicella Corvina Blend 2019

Sour red and dark cherry, oak, spices. Medium bodied with medium tannins. Could use a little more integration. The acid is a bit loud on the finish. Paired well with eggplant and tomato pasta. — a month ago

Iuli La Rina Barbera

this was a fave of mine at daughter wine bar and coffee shop (rip). it’s a dangerously easy chilled red to sip on. it’s light bodied, slightly jammy and the tannins add a lovely texture. — 5 months ago

Casisano Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese 2020

I still think this Sangiovese is underrated. Polished and suave, lighter ruby color with a touch of garnet. Ripe tannins right where I like them. Cherries, currant, blackberry all grow with time in the glass. — 6 months ago
